FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

BURLINGTON – Today, the Ontario PC Party announced that Natalie Pierre has been acclaimed as the party’s candidate for Burlington in the next provincial general election.

Since being elected as MPP, Natalie Pierre has delivered meaningful results for the people of Burlington. She has secured vital investments in local health care, infrastructure, and workforce development, including the installation of a new MRI machine and the creation of a new mental health unit at Joseph Brant Hospital. This unit will provide much-needed mental health and addiction support services, making high-quality health care more accessible to the Burlington community.

“Natalie Pierre is a real champion for Burlington,” said Doug Ford, Leader of the Ontario PC Party. “She’s been working hard to deliver results that matter. Whether it’s expanding health-care services, like the new mental health unit at Joseph Brant Hospital, fighting to keep costs down, improving transit options or creating good jobs, Natalie is delivering for the people in her community. I know she’ll keep fighting for them as we keep building a stronger, more affordable Ontario.”

Natalie Pierre and the Ontario PC Party will continue working to make life more affordable for the people of Burlington. These efforts include opposing the Liberal carbon tax, reducing the gas tax by 10 cents per litre, eliminating the licence plate sticker fee, prohibiting new road tolls, and supporting the One Fare program, which is saving transit users an average of $1,600 annually.

“Representing Burlington is such a privilege, and I’m incredibly grateful for the trust this community has placed in me,” said Natalie Pierre. “Every day, I’m motivated by the people I meet, and I’m focused on delivering the solutions that matter to them, from improving health care and creating good-paying jobs to keeping costs down for families. There’s so much more to do, and I’m ready to continue working hard for the people of Burlington to build a brighter, stronger future.”
